Sioux All-Electric Steam Generator
Sioux’s line of all-electric steam generators utilize immersion heating element(s) inside of the vessel to create steam. Unlike fuel fired models, these units produce no open flame, fumes, or exhaust, making them ideal for indoor applications where venting is not possible or hinders the portability of the unit.
The model SF-3.8E provides 133bs of low-pressure steam per hour and includes two 1″ steam outlets. This unit uses one 38 kW heating element and has an operating current of 46 amps when operated on 480V/3Ph/60Hz. It is perfect for applications such as wine barrel steaming or for customers that only require a small amount of steam for their application. The stainless steel cover on the unit protects the components of the system. Four casters make it easily moved to different areas of the customer’s operation.
Sioux’s All-Electric SF-11E provides 400lbs of low-pressure steam per hour and is heated with (3) 38kW electric heating elements. Electrical requirements are 480V/3PH/60Hz with an operating current of 140 amps. A 4″ NPT steam outlet can be adapted to a single line/hose or split to feed multiple depending on the customer’s application. The unit can be transported with the built in skid forklift pockets.
